futureFERNS ‘Juicy Highlights’ Competition
Promotional Period
Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of these terms and conditions. Entries not made in accordance with these terms and conditions will be disqualified. Acceptance of a prize by the prize winner is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The promotion commences on Tuesday 9th June 2026 and closes Sunday 26th July at 11.59pm (Promotional Period). Entries received outside the Promotional Period will be ineligible for entry.
The promoter is Woolworths New Zealand Limited, 80 Favona Road, Favona, Auckland 2024, which owns and operates Woolworths New Zealand supermarkets (Promoter).
Conditions of Entry
Entry is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over, such as a parent or guardian of a current FutureFERN player, or a coach of a FutureFERNS team (“Designated Team”) (“Eligible Entrants”).
FutureFERN players who wish to enter this competition must get their parent or guardian to enter on their behalf.
Eligible Entrants can enter the promotion by completing the entry form and sharing a futureFERNS "Juicy Highlight". Multiple entries are permitted.
Parents/guardians: Fill out your details, the name of your futureFERNS Player and their Designated Team, and the ‘Juicy Highlight’ in the form at https://woolworths.futurefernshighlights.co.nz/
Coaches: Fill out your details, the name of the futureFERNS Player (with parent/guardian permission) and their Designated Team, and the ‘Juicy Highlight’ in the form at https://woolworths.futurefernshighlights.co.nz/
Winner
One weekly winner (excluding the week of 13 July 2026) (team of winning futureFERNS player) will be determined by a random electronic draw from each week’s valid entries, on the Monday following the completion of each week. Eligible Entrants must submit an entry in the relevant week to enter that week’s draw. The draw will include all entries received in the relevant week. The draws will take place on the following Mondays:
- 15 June 2026
- 22 June 2026
- 29 June 2026
- 6 July 2026
- 20 July 2026
- 27 July 2026
One grand prize winner (team of winning futureFERNS player) will be determined by a random electronic draw from all valid entries received in the promotion on Monday 27th July 2026.
The draws will be conducted by the Promoter.
Attempts will be made to notify each winner via the email address provided on the entry form. If the winner wishes to claim the prize, they must reply to the email communication and verify the their eligibility to win pursuant to these terms and conditions within three (3) working days of the relevant prize draw. If a winner fails to do either or both of those things by the deadline, they will be deemed to have forfeited the prize.
In the event that a winner forfeits their prize or the prize remains unclaimed, a further draw will be conducted following the same procedure as the original draw.
In the event that the redraw winner does not claim the prize or is ineligible, the Promoter will conduct further redraws until the prize is awarded.
The Promoter’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering, participants agree that By entering, the wording of their Juicy Highlight quotes in the form (along with the futureFERNS player's first name, or a nickname if preferred), or an excerpt thereof, may be used or quoted by the Promoter and Netball New Zealand for promotional purposes. Eligible Entrants confirm that they have obtained approval from each futureFERNS player.
Prize
6 x Weekly prizes: Six winning teams will each receive a $500 Woolworths Gift Card and a Woolworths Orange Drop delivered to their training or game.
Prize delivery can be on an agreed date and time which suits your team during the futureFERNS season, subject to availability of delivery time. If an Orange Drop cannot be organised, a voucher of equivalent value will be issued.
One grand prize winner - a winning team will receive a Silver Ferns experience (meet and greet with selected players at a futureFERNS training or Silver Ferns commercial day), plus up to 15 tickets to a New Zealand-based Silver Ferns match. Match game tickets are subject to availability and confirmation by Netball New Zealand and Woolworths New Zealand.
Travel, accommodation and any costs associated with attending the match are not included. The winning team must have parents or guardians in attendance.
The prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
Subject to legislation, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize, with a substitute prize of equal or greater value and the winners will be notified accordingly.
General Terms and Conditions
The promotion will be conducted by the Promoter in accordance with these terms and conditions.To the extent that any matter relating to the promotion is not covered by these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to conduct the promotion as it sees fit, subject to any legal requirements or vary the terms and conditions as it deems reasonably necessary.
By entering into this promotion the entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to deem any entry void should an entrant fail to comply with any of these terms and conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize where false or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions of entry. The Promoter’s decision is final.
Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with the promotion shall be liable for any delayed, lost or misdirected entry, email or other communication. Further, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes liability for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or any website, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this promotion. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to direct, indirect, consequential or economic loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prize offered, except for any liability that can not be excluded by law.
All entries remain the property of the Promoter. All personal information will be collected and stored by the Promoter in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the Promoter’s privacy policy which can be viewed here. The Promoter and Netball New Zealand may use Juicy Highlight quotes from the promotion forms (along with the futureFERNS player's first name, or a nickname if preferred), or excerpts thereof, for promotional purposes. By entering the promotion, Eligible Entrants confirm that they agree to this possible use of such quotes and have obtained approval from relevant futureFERNS player. In order to facilitate the administration of the competition and the awarding of the prize, the Promoter may share personal information with the following: (i) the third-party agency contracted to create and manage the competition entry form and (ii) Netball New Zealand, for the purposes of coordinating the prize fulfilment with the winners and the Silver Ferns.
The Promoter may modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or change the promotion or any element of the promotion for any reason, including any cancellation, suspension or change necessitated by any event outside of the Promoter’s control.
All decisions of the Promoter are final and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into.
Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of their rights under these terms and conditions at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
